Closed Prisoners in Turkey

There is an ongoing hunger strike by Kurdish and pro-Kurdish political prisoners in Turkish prisons. Over 700 political prisoners have passed their 47th day on hunger strike. We would like British Government to pressure Turkish Government to ensure prisoner’s well-being. More importantly address their demands including the right to defense in mother tongue and removing solitary confinement for Abdullah Ocalan. These are in violation with international law and breahing human rights.
