Closed petition stop the housing benefit reform

as you may well know the goverment plans to change the way housing benefit is to be paid.there plan is to make people on benefits pay for any extra rooms they have in their property regardless of being used or not with only a very small number of exceptions.this reform is going to cause unprecedented hardship on 90% of people on benefits already struggling with higher food prices & with the recent rise in fuel & electricity prices.on average most people affected by this new reform will have to pay £20 from a benefit of £72 in most cases a week all because they have an extra room or two,i cannot see how this can be justified as being more beneficial for people
