Belsize fire station in the London borough of Camden has been an integral part of the local community for almost 100 years. It is the 2nd busiest pump ladder in the London fire brigade and it serves an extensive mix of properties and businesses from high rise tower blocks to the famous stables market Camden. The building is grade 2* listed which only 2% of english heritage building own this status and would be impossible to recieve planning applications to make any changes structural or cosmetic. If closed, this change would leave Camden and neighbouring residents imensley vulnerable.
