Petition Pay child benefit through the income tax system.

The present system was introduced to ensure that child benefit could be paid to the mother of the family. The new changes negates that because any clawback will be made through the income tax payments of the whichever person is the one who is being paid over the upper limit amount to qualify for the payment. Now is the time to put the payment of the benefit back into the income tax scheme. That would save millions in benefits centre administration costs and would ensure that those wealthy people who are entitled to use government sponsored tax evasion schemes could not also receive child benefit.
