Petition Tax relief for qualified professional volunteers

At present professionally qualified volunteers, unlike their employed associates, are not allowed tax relief on their annual subscriptions to their certified organisations. We request that appropriate steps be taken by Her Majesty's Goverment to rectify this inequality which seriously penalises volunteers, many of whom are only in receipt of a fixed and often very limited income, but wish to maintain their continuing professional developement in order to use their professional skillls to assist the charity for which they work as a volunteer.
