Every year the sale of fireworks begin early, and continue on way past Bonfire Night. Each year more and more misuse of fireworks is increased by the sales of fireworks to those clearly underage. All fireworks should be sold under licenc to those in charge of organised events only. Ensuring this procedure will in turn reduce the number of casualties and fatalities from firework accidents, thus helping in reducing the NHS cost at A&E.

Fireworkds should not be sold from shops, but from licence and controlled retailers only. Misuse of fireworks, ie, being thrown at persons or animals, or placed in properties.
