Petition Child benefit should be based on household income not individual income

More details

We don't disagree that households earning over £60k should lose child benefit, but it should be based on the combined earnings in the household.

At present a couple who earn £35k and £25k receive it whilst someone earning £60k doesn't and they pay a higher tax rate.

If we are to be "all in this together" then we really should be.
