The positive discrimination against bottle feeding your baby makes those who cannot breastfeed feel like second class mothers and ashamed. It also prevents Health Professionals giving positive advice to help those struggling mothers to enable them to make an informed choice between the two options. Also it keeps the price of milk powder artificially high. Making it a very expensive but in most cases a necessary choice.
