That the Government set a minimum turn out for the upcoming police commissioner elections. This would ensure the elected individual has the confidence of the electing community. If turnout is below the minimum then the ballot be declared void.

Failing that give the option on the ballot to choose not to vote for any of the listed candidates and the number of no votes be announced with the results.
