Closed petition Financial Protection for Gift Cards/Vouchers when companies go into administration.

We need legislation to protect the public who have paid for gift cards/vouchers to a company, when a company goes into administration the first thing that the administrators do is suspend the use of gift cards/vouchers even though this has already been paid for.

Companies should be made to ringfence all monies paid for gift cards/vouchers so if they go into administration the general public can still use them, or have the money refunded.
