Petition Restrictions of Violent Parents

I would like the government to introduce a law to prevent parents who have been violent (emotional, physical or otherwise) to children or the other parent to have no or little legal right to contact with their child/children.

At the moment the Family Courts see that every child has the right to see both sets of parents regardless of past issues.

I believe that if a perpetrator refuses to take the initial courses or admit and acknowledge responsibility of their actions then some if not all contact/access should be revoked.

I think that this should also include the non payment of maintenance as this also affects the child involved and is just another form abuse (financial).

Their should be more protection to families who have been victim to domestic abuse.
