EAST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE STATION PROPOSED CLOSURE

With the recent announcement of closure of Community Ambulance Stations
within EMAS by Phil Milligan (CEO) and the potential cuts to Emergency
cover throughout the East Midlands, due to the pressure of Government
cuts to save in excess of 15 Million pounds over the next 4 years. EMAS
one of the poor performing Trust is planning to close the Majority of
its 70 Ambulance Stations and replace it with 13 Depots. This includes
stations in remote areas such as Peak District, Rutland, North Notts and
the vast majority of rural Lincolnshire. We the undersigned wish to
petition AGAINST these closures given the high level of concern to patient care.
