We were informed my mum was dying so had been put on the Liverpool care pathway.
Ten days later with no food and no water our precious mum died.
During the 10 days she was in agonising pain, so much so that we could not hold her hand. Her mouth was too sore to wipe with wet swabs
Her hands were so swollen that we had to remove her wedding ring
How can this be care?
Even the fittest human being would only last 8-14 days without any food or water - If my mum were an animal people would be prosecuted
The Government must put a stop to this barbaric cost cutting exercise.
