In the light of the Jimmy Savile BBC Scandal, and in the light of the BBC attacking the government over the vexatious attack by the BBC on Lord McAlpine, and in view of the recent survey that shows the UK public do not trust the BBC. I call upon the government to give serious consideration to disbanding the BBC and splitting it up and selling it off to the private sector.

This would raise an absolute forturne for public funds which are sorely needed in the current economic climate.
