Petition Save Denehurst Park

Rochdale council has earmarked a portion of Denehurst Park as an extension of Rochdale Cemetery.
The council purports to have gathered feedback from all parties involved yet local residents and those most likely to be affected by this decision believe that their opinions have been given little more than "lip service" by the planners. This petition is intended to give the council a definitive response to their intentions. Although this may be considered to be a little late in the day the council need to know that our towns recreational parks are just that and should not be developed in any way whatsoever.
