Closed petition Modify the NPPF in two ways

We propose that the Department for Communities and Local Government urgently considers the following actions relating to NPPF:

1. To modify the NPPF by allowing significant local opposition to overrule the current ‘presumption in favour’ to build by developers.
2. To revise allocation numbers to include all those developments already approved but not built and withdraw permissions where developments have not been started within a twelve month time limit. Also where there is evidence overwhelming public concern of damage to local communities and infrastructure the allocation numbers should be substantially reduced or withdrawn.
