Conveyancing in England & Wales is one of, if not the most stressful things one experiences, worst of all, the customer is the least considered party. We need a complete overhaul of the system, I would favour something similar to Canada where both vendor and purchaser have to deposit up to 20% which is lost if either party reneges.
