Petition Increase Mental Health funding for out of hours services

The level of out of hours care and support for people with mental health problems varies far too much around the country. Create a nationwide phone number or similar for people in need. This could be routed to the nearest Crisis Centre or to NHS Direct, however more training would be needed.

At the moment if a person is in crisis during non-working hours then they must rely on local services, NHS Direct are not helpful and lack crucial training in this area.
