The BBC has increased its remit beyond the original intentions. The BBC dominates the media with its many TV and Radio channels together with its huge internet presence.

Consideration should given to reducing its remit to just Public Service Broadcasting with its commercial activities moved to the open market.

Its broadcasting of news would then be reporting instead of seeking to create news.
