Closed petition Establish an International Financial Criminal Tribunal to prosecute financial criminals and recover stolen assets globally.

Closed on

The UK government should give every possible assistance to the establishment of an International Financial Criminal Tribunal to investigate executives, regulators, politicians, managers and sales teams suspected of involvement in any past, present or future financial, economic and corporate crimes against humanity and to recover assets that have been acquired as the proceeds of financial crime.

The financial crimes to be investigated by the international tribunal include but are not limited to the fraudulent "mis-selling" of sub-prime mortgages; insurance policies; fake Interest Rate Derivative hedge products; Credit Default Swaps and the fraudulent setting of LIBOR.

Fraud is not "wrong doing" it has, in fact, always been a crime punishable by law with maximum sentences set for the worst offenders of many years in prison that demands the recovery of assets fraudulently acquired.
