To preserve life and promote freedom for the citizens of Syria, the UK government should demand an immediate ceasefire and disarmament of both government and opposition in Syria followed by free elections, rather than take sides in the civil war which will only continue the bloodshed with innocent civilians caught between brawling hoodlums.
