Rejected petition Remove Church of England Bishops from House of Lords until women can become Bishops

The vote of the Synod of the Church of England has institutionalised gender discrimination in the Church. Whilst the Church is free to maintain this discrimination internally, it is inappropriate that this discrimination should be allowed to take place within the national legislature.

As a result the Bishops of the Church of England should be removed from the House of Lords until the church decides to allow women to become bishops.
