Petition STOP puppy farming and large breeders in Northern Ireland

To stop puppy farming and people keeping more than 4 breeding bitches for profit. Northern Ireland has more than its fair share of unscrupulous breeders in it soley for the money. To stop councils awarding them breeders status so they are protected from law. To have breeding laws updated and clear and precise to any considering this as a business. To ensure these breeders are paying tax on their profits. To have premises inspected regularly by Welfare Animal Officers in each borough. To make sure premises are to a recognised standard. Anyone wishing to breed must get clearance from local council so as unwanted puppies and strays are kept to a minimum.
