Petition Ban HGV overtaking within 1 mile of motorway junction

Ban HGVs from overtaking within 1 mile of the approach to any motorway exit junction.

(i.e. no HGV overtaking from the blue 1 mile sign which is situated before every motorway exit junction).

This is necessary to prevent HGVs involved in these manoeuvres from obstructing motorway junctions.
These extremely slow overtaking manoeuvres in the vicinity of junctions too often create dangerous obstructions for other drivers and prevent the safe and steady exit for other vehicles off the motorway.

Please help make motorway driving safer by supporting the request for this ban.
