When a petition, containing at least 100,000 signatures, is submitted to the UK Parliament that supports an identified UK citizen being given a seat in the House of Lords that UK citizen's name should automatically be sent to the House of Lords Appointments Commission for consideration with a recommendation that that UK citizen should be elevated to the House of Lords unless the Commission finds good reason to bar them.
