At present Custom duty does not need to be paid on goods from outside the EU worth less than £15 (lowered from £18 to £15 recently).

Given how inflation has raised the price of goods worldwide the exemption should be increased to reflect this rather than decreased. So any goods from outside the EU worth £25 or less should be exempt from custom duty.
