If we are truly members of a democratic society then we ,as taxpayers should be consulted on how our monies are spent.

HS2 or NHS? Police Commissioners or street lighting?
State Education or Academies? Local Governance or National /European Governance.The list is almost endless but Taxpayers input should be sought,respected and considered.
