Sir Patrick Moore, a feature of so many people's lives, has inspired generations of people to study the skies. It would be a fitting tribute, so long as it does not run counter to his own wishes, if his ashes were to be sent into orbit.

To effect this, public monies and/or a public subscription should be used.
