The British Equine Veterinary Association are trying to pass laws that will drastically limit the procedures your qualified Equine Dentist can perform. These laws will also limit further developments within the equine dental industry for non veterinarian dentist. Very few vets have advanced equine dental training compared to your qualified equine dentists who have had years of experience in this area alone. If the law gets passed any treatment other than basic dental care and motorised dental equilibration will have to be referred to your vet, that's if your vet is set up to deal with such procedures.
