Tobacco and alcohol are legal substances used by thousands of people everyday, however both of these substances have very serious effects on your health.

Smoking is currently the single largest cause of preventable cancer deaths in the UK. Every year around 32,000 people die from lung cancer alone.

As many as 33,000 people in the UK die from alcohol-related causes every year.

Add tobacco and alcohol to the list of controlled drugs under the misuse of drugs act 1971 under category A or schedule 1 of the amended act of 2001.
