MPs receive many allowances and expenses which if they had been paid to employees of a commercial organisation would be taxed.

Examples of these payments are for groceries, household goods and living allowances.

MPs already receive a very generous salary and pension and this ePetition requests that all additional payments are treated under PAYE and only made if wholly, necessarily and exclusively for MP work.
