Rejected petition Bring back into service HMS Ark Royal, the Harriers and a Replacement for the Nimrod Maritime Patrol aircraft!

Whilst most of us except that Cuts have to be made in Defence, the cuts have gone to far, leaving the Royal Navy without a capability to operate Fixed wing aircraft from Carriers and leaving the airforce without a Maritime Patrol capability leaves our Nation to vulnerable. This is highlighted in recent Operations in Libya, we are sending more vulnerable helicopters to do a job that the Harrier is ideal for. It is also a complete waste to think of all the tax payers money that has been ploughed into the Harrier GR9 and Nimrod projects, its just silly to throw them away!
