The undersigned would like the government to make it illegal for transport unions to strike on or around public holidays.

Whilst we recognise the importance of the ability to strike and raise public awareness of causes, the level of disruption to the general public on these dates is unacceptable and unnecessary to achieve their objectives.

We therefore do not believe they should be allowed to excercise this privilege when their actions will cause misery at times of public celebration.
