Petition Tax on sweets for health and government income

I would like the government to put a tax on sweets to help reduce tooth decay and also to provide income to be spent on dentistry or National Debt.
I have read that dentists believe such a tax would be beneficial, and other countries are implementing this (in fact, with wider scope in some cases - e.g. Denmark.)
