This petition was submitted during the 2010-2015 parliament
Petition UK population to decide how much UK should give out in foreign aid.
More details
It is reported the UK will pay £12.6billion a year on international development by 2014.
This equates to £200 for every man woman and child in the UK.
Each individual should be given a vote, whether the £200 should be spent on foreign countries, or to 'return' the money to each individual in the form of reduced taxes, or increased benefits, to the benefit or development of the UK.
