'Church' is the building, the place of worship and the gathering of believers of the christian faith, based on the Bible being the inspired word of God, where "the Righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel of Christ, from faith to faith" (see Romans 1:17).

The Bible reveals same sex practices being a consequence of the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men:
1> "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones." (see Romans 1:26)
2> "In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error." (see Romans 1:27)

The petition intends to oppose legalisation of the unrighteous same sex marriage ceremonies in churches.
