Petition Manufacturers to Package using ONLY RECYCLABLE Plastics

"The government believes that we need to protect the environment for future generations [and] make our economy more environmentally sustainable"

This is taken straight from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.

Why then, is our capacity to achieve this vision by recycling our waste hugely limited by the fact that so many manufacturers continue to package their products in non-recyclable materials?

The UK government must establish procedures so that all manufacturers and packaging companies, who wish to use plastic in their packaging, have to use clearly-marked plastics which CAN be recycled in the normal home & business recycling collections.
