Hundreds of Lords, MPs, and government functionaries have links to pharmaceutical companies, including members of the MHRA and other bodies meant to regulate these companies. This is not right and must be properly looked into. We call on the British government to investigate drug clinical trials and whether and how the relationship between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies and lawmakers affects the outcomes of drug authorization.
