A day of respect shown by the people of this nation for the forces past or present fallen or survived in all conflicts past or present , for the nation to have a day of helping our forces either by support by a moment of silent remembrance at a specific time and celebration for the returning forces men & women , for which all local forces charities can help promote their charity and the nation to show the forces that if not evident the people of the UK do care and thank god for our ARMED FORCES promoting freedom and peace around the world .
