Rejected petition MP's pay should not rise by more than 1%

The country continues to battle the economic recession and many people continue to face pay freeze and a squeeze on their income. MP's and government workers should commit to battling the recession together with the public and their pay should reflect this. As such MPs pay should not go up by more than 1% until the deficit is paid off.
