Closed petition Government branded goods

Find simple products (e.g. wine, pies, ready meals, potato peelers,), that are not currently made by British companies and start making them using a government brand. Build infrastructure and machinery using British companies, employ manual workers and management from the unemployed.

Customers would be drawn towards government branded goods because they would feel a sense of purpose and community (and might even like the products). The idea would only have to break even for it to be declared a success!
