Rejected petition We were promised an EU referendum during the run up to the last general election

The current Prime Minister promised much during the run up to the 2010 election, one the the many promises he has failed to keep is a referendum on the UKs membership of the EU. Politicians MUST keep their promises regardless of the outcome. Not to do so effectively means that they obtained their positions falsely. We urge this Government to give the population of this Country the referendum they promised in 2010. this must be during the life of this coalition Government.
