This petition is for the community to get together and sign to state they are backing us to get speed cameras and 20mph in boothtown and claremount.

Over the last 6 years I have been the backbone of a campaign to implement traffic calming measures, speed restrictions, 20mph zones outside schools and nurseries and speed cameras.

It has been a constant battle with the local councils due to '' statistics '' and '' budgets '' but I will not be defeated.

At the moment '' boothtown road '' is what I and and many others call a rat run, It's the only A road that leads from Halifax to Bradford, its a long wide road with the appeal to some people to race, speed, dangerous drive. This resulting is fatalities. I want these accidents, fatalities to stop and my campaign is to PREVENT anything happening in the future.
