Closed Ban building on ALL UK green belt land and utilise unoccupied buildings

Stop all plans to build on green belt land and utilise unoccupied factories, office blocks, and empty dwellings into affordable housing units. Thus also saving on raw materials. The government should pass a law that states that no building should remain empty for more than 6 months and grants should be given to building firms who actually carry out the work to encourage this endeavour.
