Closed ALL PEOPLE THAT RECEIVE A STATE PENSION ON 5 APRIL 2017, SHOULD BE PAID THE PROJECTED BASE RATE OF £144 PER WEEK REGADLESS OF THEIR PENSION START DATE

Following the annoucements regarding the Basic State Pension on Monday 14 January 2013, by the coalition govenment, I propose the following:

" All people who are alive on 5 APRIL 2017 both male and female, who at that date are currently receiving their State Pension regardless of the amount, that is, if it is below £144.00 should see it be increased to a minimum of £144.00 (at today's value).
If the current government in power either now or in the future set a minimum payment above £144 .00 (at today's value) for the Basic State Pension that figure should be paid.
This minimum figure will ensure that ALL PENSIONERS male or female living at 5 April 2017 will receive equal payments regardless their wealth or status".
