Closed UK notice of withdrawal from the EU

This petition calls on Mr David Donald Cameron - as the current British Prime Minister - to send as a matter of urgency the necessary letter, as required under Article 50 of the Treaty on The European Union, to the European Council, stating that it should be regarded as a formal UK notice of withdrawal from the EU.

The letter should also note that were the remaining members of the EU at any time to hinder our access to the single market, we would take retaliatory tariff and other measures against the imports of goods and services from the EU.
