Make ALL mileage claims payments paid at the LOWER Rate, and NOT 47.7p per MILE. Both Local Councils AND Government Departments. This would bring an IMMEDIATE saving, and the money saved, could be used to KEEP LIBRARIES OPEN ! Any surplus could be used to keep other essential services working.
