Closed on
An old cotton mill in Burnley, Lancashire faces demolition if redevelopment plans get the go-ahead.
Former Queens Mill in Elm Street, Daneshouse which is located in Burnley in Lancashire dates back to the late 1880 and Great Places Housing would like it demolished so new homes could be built.
"Bosses at the Manchester firm say that 18 affordable homes can be constructed if the building, located between terraced houses in Elm Street and Spencer Street, is pulled down". - Quote from the Lancashire Telegraph
Let's stop our history being ripped away from us. Perhaps the building can be saved and turned into a museum or something that benefits the local history.
