Petition Launch independant investigation in to potential football bribery

In light of the corruption that has gone on in world cycling with Lance Armstrong for so many years without proper detection and how long it took for the truth to emerge from the Hillsborough disaster, I would like the government to give proper thought to whether an investigation should be carried out to ensure that there is no corruption or bribery taking place in the English Premier League.

The sport is followed by millions yet it is still quite conceivable that certain individuals have put undue pressure on people to ensure results go their way - especially given how much money is at stake. It is only fair to the people of Britain that an investigation like that performed on the Hillsborough disaster is performed independently to prove that the nations number one sport is free from any sort of corruption at the top level.
