Petition School holidays to be reduced in the event of an enforced School Closure.

If a School has an enforced closure (e.g. due to severe Weather), then the day lost should be recovered from a future School Holiday. This would ensure that every child has the same entitlement to a full academic education (approx 195 academic days). Days lost do not give good value for money. Playing 'catch up' with additional homework is not the answer,and puts unnecessary pressure on the pupils.
